The Friends of the Cinema (FOTC) are a group of concerned volunteers who support the Cinema Theater because we feel it is a vital entity not only in the South East corridor, but in the city of Rochester itself.

In the Fall of 2005, it looked as if the Cinema had shown its last movie. In the spirit of community partnership, a number of committed individuals and companies helped keep its doors open.
